the room was a bit stuffy, only one window that opened. also, the signage to find the place could be better.

My room was warm and cozy, with a nice view overlooking the garden. It had a private bathroom complete with a shower, free toiletries, and a hairdryer. Perfect getaway for our special day!
We just tied the knot and couldn’t have asked for a better spot! The staff was amazing. they really made everything flow smoothly. Breakfast was delicious, and the gardens were so pretty — perfect for some wedding pics. Just a heads up, make sure to bring your own snacks since there’s no bar or restaurant around.

I enjoyed a good breakfast with locally sourced ingredients. The breakfast included very good sausages, which made my stay memorable. I walked into a nearby village after breakfast, where I found a lovely pub that served great lunches. The area felt quiet and secluded, perfect for someone like me who appreciates tranquility.
The room could have been better. I dealt with one window that needed repair, which made the room feel stuffy.

Had a lovely stay for 2 nights in an Executive Double Room with a comfy bed and a powerful shower. The garden was perfect for relaxing, and I enjoyed unwinding on the sun terrace too. The only thing I’d wish for is more breakfast options available in the morning instead of pre-ordering them the day before. 🍳

we loved the building and grounds, and the staff were super accommodating. meeting nigel and robina was a treat, they were really gracious hosts. breakfast was amazing, and i enjoyed the comfy classic family room. also, the walk to the george pub was nice, got to see some lovely views and requested a map that was easy to follow.
but there were a few marks on the carpet and hospitality tray could have used more coffee and milk, felt a bit odd with only 3 biscuits for 2 people.
